Clear, pale, shiny straw-gold colour. The nose offers a truly complex array of freshly-cut lime, orange blossom and hay aromas, with an almost palpable minerality and real smoky depth. Hints of peach/apricot add a suggestion of richness, which manifests itself on the palate and offers real generosity. It is beautifully fresh and focused in the mouth, with myriad flavours of lime oil, apple, peach and apricot, with a subtle spiciness, all of which is wrapped around a core of intense minerality and laser-like acidity. With a long, cool, minty finish, this a wine of genuine complexity, and is a very rare find at this price level. Quite simply, one of the finest bargains on our list. Biodynamic.
