A sparkling wine, made by the injection of carbon dioxide before bottling, in a fresh and fruity style, and designed for early drinking. (age-wise - not time of day!). A very pale colour, with orange and green glints. Shows a lively mousse, with long-lasting large bubbles. The nose is immensely fruity and even grapey, with hints of flowers, orange and pink grapefruit. The palate is frothy, fresh and lively, with all of those aromas and flavours coming through in the mouth, with a gently creamy texture on the mid-palate, lovely acidity and a hint of bitter orange on the finish. Perfect for enjoying on the patio on long, hot summer evenings. |
