Herbaceous, smoky, green apple and pineapple chunk aromas, which carry through in the mouth, with citrus flavours also to the fore. Quite steely/flinty, with tangy fruit flavours and a nice streak of acidity and a commendable finish. Without comparing it to Burgundy, as a stylistic reference, it is more in the style of a Chablis, rather than the richer wines of the Cote d'Or. It is stylish, beautifully made, refreshing, and perfect to drink now, but will also age for a couple of years too. |
